Timothy John Buchanan passed away after a brief hospitalization on October 18, 2023.

Timothy was born in Mount Kisco NY on August 31, 1987. He was 36 years old.

Tim was a loving son, brother and uncle. He was a kind, gentle, humble and compassionate young man.

As an avid reader with interests in science, history, politics and the environment, Tim shared his knowledge and wisdom with many.

He was a friend to everyone and loved by all.

Tim had a passion for music. He enjoyed entertaining friends with his singing and guitar playing. Tim also listened to a wide and eclectic range of musical styles and genres. In his teenage years Tim performed in many amateur theater productions.

Tim was a man of many gifts.

Tim is survived by his mother Susan, father Robert, sister Jessica, two nieces and one nephew. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

Tim was predeceased by his long-time partner Karla Bova.

Tim will be greatly missed.

A wake will take place on Thursday, October 26, 2023, starting at 11:00 am, and a funeral service will follow at 1 pm at the Heritage Funeral Home, Morrissey Drive, Putnam Valley, and interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Cortlandt Manor.
