Stella LiRosi of Newburg, New York passed away on June 23, 2026 at 75 years old.

Stella was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and cherished friend. She was the heart of her family. Her kindness, generosity and quiet strength made everyone feel welcomed and cared for. Stella lived with grace and humility, always putting others before herself.

Stella’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her three sons – Alfred (Debbie), Daniel, and Matthew (Tammy), her sister and best friend Fran, along with her treasured grandchildren– Alyssa, Stephen and Alexander–who brought her endless happiness. She offered constant love, guidance, and support, and her presence brought warmth and solace to all who knew her. Whether through a thoughtful gesture or a comforting conversation, Stella made people feel valued and loved.

For the past 12 years battling illness, Stella trusted in God, never gave up hope, and treated others with compassion. Though her passing leaves a deep void, Stella leaves behind a legacy of faith, family, friendship and unconditional love. She will always be remembered for her warm, beautiful smile, gentle wisdom, strength, and the many lives she touched. On her final journey to heaven, we picture her as we often saw her– hair flowing in the wind, riding in her red convertible corvette, completely at ease.

May she rest peacefully in God’s Eternal embrace surrounded by everlasting light and love.

Memorial Visitation is on Thursday, June 25th from 6-8 pm at Heritage Funeral Home, Morrissey Drive, Putnam Valley.
