Patsy Ann Dusavage passed away on December 29th surrounded by loving family. Patsy was born in Oneonta NY on December 17, 1935. She was the child of Lavinia (Davidson) and Gilbert Crounse. She married Gary Wayne Crewell on May 20, 1956. He passed away on July 18, 1961. They had 3 children Julie Ann Crewell Johnson (deceased July 20, 1994), Amy Beth Crewell Ubben (Arthur) and Gary Wayne Crewell (Charlene). Patsy remarried on July 10, 1965, Joseph F. Dusavage (deceased January 9, 2003). They had one child, Joseph P. Dusavage (Kate). Patsy is survived by nine grandchildren: Larissa Crewell Gerlach, Tyler Ubben, Cheyanne Johnson Saraceno, Lauren Crewell, Nicole Ubben Rozestraten, Korinne Johnson Jones, Kyle Johnson, Coleman Dusavage, and Jacob Dusavage. She also has six great grandchildren: Peyton Gruhl, Rylie Jones, Lucas Saraceno, Sara Rozestraten, Hailyn Saraceno and Chloe Rozestraten.

Patsy was a lover of life and people. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Putnam Valley, Mohegan Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, Van Cortlandtville Historical Society and NYP/HVH Women’s Auxiliary. She was an active volunteer all her life. Her most rewarding job was being a Chaplain for 12 years at NYP/HVH.

A celebration of life service will be held at Grace United Methodist Church on February 7th at 12:30pm.
