Pamela May Turner-Marchese (Pam), age 63, longtime resident of Cortlandt Manor passed away on Thursday August 03, 2023 at home with her family by her side. Born to Arthur and Agnes Turner Sr. on September 26, 1959 in Peekskill, NY. Pamela was the oldest of six children. She was a beloved wife, sister, aunt and friend.
Pam married Lance Marchese on May 15, 1999 in a small ceremony surrounded by family and friends. In their 24 years of marriage they built an extraordinary life together. They loved and admired each other and she loved their trips up north to their property. They were each other ying to the yang and even in her final moments you could see the love for each other had never faltered.
Pam worked for almost 20 years at Hudson Valley Hospital before entering back into school and graduating with her LPN Nursing degree where she finished out the rest of her career with Angels on Call healthcare working with individuals with disabilities, a job in which she truly loved and just recently retired from last year.
Pam loved to shop and go on new adventures whether it was going down south to visit with family or off to some new destination she was always up for the adventure. Pam has a passion about her that everyone loves. Pam had a sense of humor that runs deep within the family. Even up until the end she was a fighter keeping everyone’s spirits up with her personality and sense of humor trying to make sure we laughed more than we cried.
Pam also had a huge love for her animals and they were spoiled to say the least. Before her final moments Opal and Coco were placed beside her so she could say goodbye to them as they were her children and she looked forward to being with them everyday.
She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Agnes Turner Sr., her brother Jason M. Turner and numerous other loved ones. Left to mourn a life well lived are her husband Lance Marchese, her siblings Cindy (Howard) Wessells, Arthur A. Turner Jr. (Kimberly) Turner, Timothy (Muriel) Turner, Heather (Paul) Tormenta. She is also survived by her nieces/nephews Tricia, Artie, John, Jennifer, Brent, Brandon, Doug and Kaiden. Several great nieces/nephews Krysta, Euan, Brianna, Matthew, Grayce, Brooke, Dominick, Johnny, Hunter, Joey and Addison. She also got the joy of becoming a great great aunt to Jameson, Tanner and Beau. Pam is also survived by a brother and sister in-law. She comes from a very large family that loves her and will miss her dearly.
