A Testament to Love- Over 40 Years of Marriage

Marcella “Marcy” Ann (Hluboky) Higgins was born on August 5th, 1938 to mother Margaret Ann Haver and father, Joseph Hluboky in Yonkers, New York.

She was a devoted mother and loving wife, and supported her husband Michael at 82nd Airborne activities and bagpipe band festivals. Marcy retired from her employment with Blue Book.

She is survived by her two sons, Scotty Connery and Robert Connery, Robert’s wife Janet Connery, her grandsons Anthony and Adam Daquila and Adam’s wife, Angela as well as 6 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Marcella is preceded in death by her daughter, Margaret (O’brien) Wolfinger, and her stepson Michael Higgins.

The family of Marcella Higgins will receive friends on Thursday, June 6th from 4-8 pm at Heritage Funeral Home, Morrissey Drive, Putnam Valley. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 am at the funeral home, followed by interment at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Putnam Valley.
