Lenore Knudsen, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 79. An avid traveler and effortless conversationalist, she was born and raised in the Bronx where she started her family. In 1978, Lenore and her family moved to Lake Peekskill. During that time, she worked hard to provide for the family she had created. Lenore is survived by her two daughters, Liana and Deidre; her granddaughter Aleeza, and beloved pupper, Scout. She was predeceased in 2012 by her beloved son, Robert. Lenore will be remembered for her infectious smile, generous spirit, and indelible love for her family. She will forever hold a place in our hearts, and will never, ever be forgotten.

Visiting hours will be on Friday, February 2nd from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Morrissey Drive, Putnam Valley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, February 3rd at 11 a.m. at St. Columbanus Church, Oregon Road, Cortlandt Manor
