James F. Cummings, Sr., 79, of Putnam Valley, New York, passed away at home on April 13, 2026.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Bardes-Cummings; his children, Kristin and Steve Magarelli, James F. Cummings, Jr. and Crystal Cummings, and Tara and Bill Venezia; and his twelve grandchildren, Stephen, Billy, Molly, Matthew, Kelli, Zackary, Michael, Joey, James III, Savannah, Charlotte, and Victoria.

He is also survived by his sister, Maureen and Jim Gordon.

Services will be held on April 19, 2026 from 11:00am to 2:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Putnam Valley, New York.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to VFW Post 391, 152 Oscawana Lake Rd, Putnam Valley , New York.
