We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Beatrice Fico.
On the evening of February 14th, 2026, Beatrice was welcomed home to Heaven at the age of 83 surrounded by her loving family.

Beatrice “Bea” Fico was born on May 7th, 1942 to her loving parents Frank Rush Sr. and Beatrice Rush. She grew up in Putnam Valley, NY alongside her three other siblings, Frank Rush Jr., Phillip “Tony” Rush, and her twin sister Bernadette Rush

Beatrice was predeceased by all her loving siblings, her parents, and her sister-in-law Anne Rush.

Beatrice is survived by her daughter, Tina Mignano, her son-in-law Eric Mignano, as well as her two grandchildren Emma Mignano and Nicholas Mignano with whom she resided, as well as her nieces and nephews, Frank (Diane) Rush III and family, Jackie (Fred) Wagner and family, and Kelly (Mark) Rush Goldberg, and her cousin Bette Stockinger.

Beatrice was loving, nurturing, loyal, and had a deeply affectionate heart. She worked most of her life caring for others in hospitals, and nursing homes, as well as spending her time caring for her sisters in Christ at the convent. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her family. She was also a dedicated and proud member of the church as her faith was extremely important to her. Beatrice found her purpose in caring for the people around her, and would always put others’ needs before her own. Loved by many, Beatrice left a forever impression on the people around her and will forever be in our hearts.

Visiting hours are on Thursday, February 19th from 4-8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Morrissey Drive, Putnam Valley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, February 20th at 11 a.m. at the Church of the North American Martyrs, Oscawana Lake Road, Putnam Valley, and interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
